How to Choose Your Length

By neckline

  • Crew neck or high neck โ€” choker or princess length sits above the neckline
  • V-neck โ€” follow the V with a princess or matinee pendant
  • Scoop neck โ€” any length works; princess is most versatile
  • Off-shoulder โ€” choker or short chain draws attention upward

By height

  • Petite frames โ€” shorter lengths (30โ€“45 cm) are proportionally flattering
  • Taller frames โ€” longer lengths (50โ€“70 cm) balance the proportions well

For layering

  • Choose three lengths at least 5โ€“10 cm apart so each layer is visible
  • Start with a choker, add a princess pendant, finish with a longer chain
  • Read our Necklace Layering Guide for styling tips

Tips

  • Measure around your neck with a soft tape to find where each length will sit on your body โ€” this is more accurate than going by the chart alone
  • If you are between lengths, go longer โ€” you can always layer a shorter piece on top
  • Pendant necklaces read shorter than plain chains of the same length because the pendant draws the eye downward
