How to Choose Your Length
By neckline
- Crew neck or high neck โ choker or princess length sits above the neckline
- V-neck โ follow the V with a princess or matinee pendant
- Scoop neck โ any length works; princess is most versatile
- Off-shoulder โ choker or short chain draws attention upward
By height
- Petite frames โ shorter lengths (30โ45 cm) are proportionally flattering
- Taller frames โ longer lengths (50โ70 cm) balance the proportions well
For layering
- Choose three lengths at least 5โ10 cm apart so each layer is visible
- Start with a choker, add a princess pendant, finish with a longer chain
- Read our Necklace Layering Guide for styling tips
Tips
- Measure around your neck with a soft tape to find where each length will sit on your body โ this is more accurate than going by the chart alone
- If you are between lengths, go longer โ you can always layer a shorter piece on top
- Pendant necklaces read shorter than plain chains of the same length because the pendant draws the eye downward
