Materials
Every SoulAdorne piece begins with the material. We select each one for its quality, character, and the way it feels to wear โ not just how it looks on day one, but how it holds up and ages with you.
925 Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper, which is why it is stamped 925. It is bright, durable, and one of the most skin-friendly metals for everyday wear. Sterling silver may tarnish over time when exposed to air and moisture, but tarnish is easy to remove with a soft cloth or mild soap and water.
Care: Wipe after each wear, store in an airtight pouch, and remove before showering or swimming. See our full Silver Jewelry Care guide.
Gold Vermeil
Our gold vermeil is a substantial layer of 14k or 18k solid gold applied over a sterling silver base. It is significantly more durable than standard gold plating, which typically uses a base metal like brass or copper. The result is a warm, lasting gold finish at a considered price.
Care: Avoid prolonged water exposure, perfume, and lotions. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing.
Copper
Copper is a warm-toned metal used in a number of our earrings, bracelets, rings, and necklaces โ often finished in gold or combined with sterling silver. It is lightweight, flexible, and takes on colour and texture beautifully. Some people with copper sensitivity may experience skin discoloration; if so, we recommend choosing our sterling silver or gold vermeil pieces instead.
Care: Store away from moisture. Wipe after wearing to prevent oxidation.
Freshwater Pearls
Our freshwater pearls are cultured โ grown in freshwater mussels with human assistance, which is how all cultured pearls are produced. Each pearl is individually selected for its luster and surface quality. Freshwater pearls have a soft, luminous glow that suits both everyday wear and special occasions.
Care: Pearls are sensitive to chemicals, perfume, and sweat. Put them on last and wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Store separately to avoid scratching.
Baroque Pearls
Baroque pearls are irregular in shape โ no two are identical. Their organic, asymmetric forms feel modern and sculptural, and their luster is the same as round cultured pearls. We love baroque pearls for the way they celebrate natural imperfection.
Care: Same as freshwater pearls โ avoid chemicals and store separately.
Natural Gemstones
We use a range of genuine earth-born gemstones, each selected for its quality and natural character. Gemstones connect the wearer to something older and quieter than everyday life.
Tigerโs Eye โ a golden-brown chatoyant stone associated with grounding, clarity, and confidence. Its banded shimmer shifts with the light.
Agate โ a layered stone available in a wide range of natural colours. Agate is known for its stability and gentle energy, and its banded patterns make each piece unique.
Lapis Lazuli โ a deep royal blue stone flecked with natural golden pyrite. Lapis has been treasured for thousands of years and is associated with wisdom, truth, and calm.
Opal โ a stone that refracts light into shifting colour. Each opal displays its own play-of-colour, making every piece genuinely one of a kind.
Care: Most natural stones can be cleaned with a barely damp soft cloth. Avoid soaking, harsh chemicals, and ultrasonic cleaners.
Shell Beads
Our shell beads are shaped from natural shells, carrying the subtle colour gradients and organic texture of the ocean. Each bead has its own pattern and tone, making no two pieces identical.
Care: Keep away from prolonged water exposure. Wipe with a soft cloth after wearing.
Oil-Drop Glaze
Oil-drop glaze is a ceramic technique where the firing process creates an iridescent, droplet-like surface pattern. The result is unpredictable and unique โ each glazed piece carries a slightly different constellation of colour and texture. No two pieces are the same.
Care: Handle with care. Wipe gently with a dry cloth.
Stainless Steel
A small number of our pieces incorporate stainless steel components. Stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnish and corrosion, making it one of the most durable metals for jewelry. It is also hypoallergenic and suitable for very sensitive skin.
Care: Wipe with a soft damp cloth. Stainless steel requires minimal maintenance.
